Customer Service Representative
Given our mandate to make the entire shopping experience easy for our customers, you will play an essential role within our stores. Your services could be needed at the checkout, Copy & Print centre or service floor, so your knowledge and understanding of each area will ensure you can always provide the top level of customer care. Demonstrating you value your customers' time, you will provide exceptional satisfaction through a fast and flawless return/exchange/purchase process. You will also be able to recognize and capitalize on opportunities to generate add-on sales, while consistently maintaining a friendly, non-aggressive approach. Customer service begins and ends with you, so we need you to help us create an environment our customers will want to come back to again and again.
Copy&Print Centre Lead
Managing one of our most active departments you will make sure customer service is at the heart of everything you do. The authority on complete customer solutions, you will determine each customer's needs and recommend products and services accordingly. Applying your business acumen you will contribute to maintaining the profitability of the Copy & Print Centre. You have the coaching tools to share your vast knowledge with your team while working with them to develop their technical proficiency. You will also ensure they accurately understand and filter the needs of your customers to keep the department running smoothly and the work flowing effectively.
Drive sales using your passion and industry expertise to provide cutting-edge solutions tailored to our customers' needs. Primarily a sales position, your main objective will be to consistently exceed sales targets. Working actively with the Senior Technology Consultant you will develop and reinforce the selling culture, maintain high merchandising standards and leverage customer relationships to drive sales. As the go-to person for all things technology, customers and fellow associates will rely on your vast knowledge of technology and related products and accessories. You possess the coaching skills to assist in training your colleagues as required. You will also use your superior customer service skills to provide post-sale follow-up, and ensure STAPLES becomes the technology destination of choice for your growing customer base.
Senior Technology Consultant
Take the reigns in determining the technology needs of your customers and mastermind solutions designed to meet them. Leading your team to meet or exceed the sales and service targets for the department, you will set high merchandising standards for them to follow and help reinforce the Easy brand promise through Inspired Selling techniques. Working as a team you will cultivate an environment where both sales and customer service are highly valued, one that keeps your customers coming back to STAPLES for the products and service you provide.
Management Development Program
This program is designed with you in mind! This internal program develops associates who are currently working in our stores by taking them on a journey through 5 Steps: Self Discovery, Competency Assessment, Mentorship and Commitment, creation of an Individual Development Plan and interviews with Management and Human Resources. This interactive program gives you, our associate, the chance to work with managers in your store, your District Manager and your Human Resources partner to develop your skills to step into a management role at STAPLES. Business Support Manager
Helping the store operate at peak performance across the board requires strong multi-tasking proficiency. All sales support activities in the store will be your responsibility to oversee in collaboration with the Sales Manager. Reporting and analysis are crucial responsibilities, as you will regularly prepare and present data reports to the store and office management teams. As a key contributor to the success of the retail sales environment, you will supervise a team of non-sales associates and ensure the accuracy of all store shipments. Acting as store Manager on Duty, your critical tasks will include driving sales and guaranteeing complete customer satisfaction.
