Business Support Manager

Helping the store operate at peak performance across the board requires strong multi-tasking proficiency. All sales support activities in the store will be your responsibility to oversee in collaboration with the Sales Manager. Reporting and analysis are crucial, as you will regularly prepare and present data reports to the store and office management teams. As a key contributor to the success of the retail sales environment, you will supervise a team of non-sales associates and ensure the accuracy of all store shipments. Acting as store Manager on Duty, your critical tasks will include driving sales and guaranteeing complete customer satisfaction.

Divisional Sales Manager

As an exceptional motivator you will lead the sales team to deliver optimal performance. Through skillful coaching you will mentor your associates to complete their tasks effectively and drive sales within their respective departments. Ensuring consistently superior customer service within your store is also crucial. You will set the standard for staff to uphold storewide. You also have a knack for recognizing and attracting new talent to keep your team strong. Your multi-tasking skills will come in handy in this role, as you will be required to provide hands-on support in many areas as the Manager on Duty. Sales Manager

Expertise in technology hardware and tech services will inspire your associates to maximize sales in these areas. You will oversee the checkout, Service Centre and Copy Centre areas to make sure customer service is up to STAPLES' high standards. The keys to success in this position are strength in planning and execution, and the ability to motivate and support the other managers and associates on the sales team, while also operating a profitable store.

General Manager

In one of the top management positions at STAPLES you have the skills to manage the crucial elements that make our stores successful and a great place to work. You will effectively drive the sales and profitability of your store through multiple initiatives that will require your business acumen, creativity, leadership ability and expert understanding of the local market. As customer service is always our top priority, you will lead your entire team in getting to know your community and your customers and what you can do to serve them. Equally important is coaching and development; you will ensure every associate understands the part they play in your store's success. If you can create an inspired environment that will bring new customers in the door and keep the current ones coming back, then we want to hear from you.

District Manager

Show us how you can build our business and maximize sales and profitability throughout an entire district. As the ideal District Manager you know that if your General Managers excel, you excel, so everything you do will be based on that philosophy. You will coach and motivate your General Managers to achieve top results and exceptional customer service and satisfaction. You will constantly review policies and procedures, as well as everyday operations, to look for areas of improvement and come up with suitable implementation plans. You will establish inspiring sales environments that your entire team will cultivate, constantly keeping in mind best practices and our commitment to Easy. Travel is a must, so be prepared to take your proactive leadership skills on the road with you in this very busy position.

Customer Service Representative

Given our mandate to make the entire shopping experience easy for our customers, you will play an essential role within our stores. Your services could be needed at the checkout, Copy & Print centre or service floor, so your knowledge and understanding of each area will ensure you can always provide the top level of customer care. Demonstrating you value your customers' time, you will provide exceptional satisfaction through a fast and flawless return/exchange/purchase process. You will also be able to recognize and capitalize on opportunities to generate add-on sales, while consistently maintaining a friendly, non-aggressive approach. Customer service begins and ends with you, so we need you to help us create an environment our customers will want to come back to again and again.

Copy&Print Centre Lead

Managing one of our most active departments you will make sure customer service is at the heart of everything you do. The authority on complete customer solutions, you will determine each customer's needs and recommend products and services accordingly. Applying your business acumen you will contribute to maintaining the profitability of the Copy & Print Centre. You have the coaching tools to share your vast knowledge with your team while working with them to develop their technical proficiency. You will also ensure they accurately understand and filter the needs of your customers to keep the department running smoothly and the work flowing effectively.

Technology Consultant

Drive sales using your passion and industry expertise to provide cutting-edge solutions tailored to our customers' needs. Primarily a sales position, your main objective will be to consistently exceed sales targets. Working actively with the Senior Technology Consultant you will develop and reinforce the selling culture, maintain high merchandising standards and leverage customer relationships to drive sales. As the go-to person for all things technology, customers and fellow associates will rely on your vast knowledge of technology and related products and accessories. You possess the coaching skills to assist in training your colleagues as required. You will also use your superior customer service skills to provide post-sale follow-up, and ensure STAPLES becomes the technology destination of choice for your growing customer base.

Senior Technology Consultant

Take the reigns in determining the technology needs of your customers and mastermind solutions designed to meet them. Leading your team to meet or exceed the sales and service targets for the department, you will set high merchandising standards for them to follow and help reinforce the Easy brand promise through Inspired Selling techniques. Working as a team you will cultivate an environment where both sales and customer service are highly valued, one that keeps your customers coming back to STAPLES for the products and service you provide.

Management Development Program

This program is designed with you in mind! This internal program develops associates who are currently working in our stores by taking them on a journey through 5 Steps: Self Discovery, Competency Assessment, Mentorship and Commitment, creation of an Individual Development Plan and interviews with Management and Human Resources. This interactive program gives you, our associate, the chance to work with managers in your store, your District Manager and your Human Resources partner to develop your skills to step into a management role at STAPLES.
